Description
The Marine Corps Recruiting Command's ("MCRC") requirement is for Contractor(s) to accredit MECEP's current offering of courses of instruction and provide college credits for MECEP Prep graduates. For the 2010 summer session, 100 Marines have requested credit support for 1200 credit hours, which are to be completed under 11 courses of instruction. Tasks: Contractor(s) shall provide accreditation for all Summer 2010 MECEP courses of instruction, and shall provide official transferable college transcripts for each Marine student who successfully completes any accredited MECEP coursework. For Summer 2010, MECEP Prep anticipates a matriculating contingent of one hundred (100) Marines. Courses in various majors/disciplines/fields of study will be taught to enlisted Marine participants with the specific intent of effecting the later transfer of these credits to the NROTC-affiliated institution(s) of higher education that these Marines will attend for graduation and commissioning. A broad spectrum of courses, consisting of American Literature, Composition, American History, Political Science, Western Civilization, Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Statistics, Chemistry, and Physical Science will be offered, with each course being worth a minimum of three (3) credits. ** SEE ATTACHMENT FOR COMPLETE DESCRIPTION AND INSTRUCTIONSPRIMARY POC - TRACEY WILLIAMS 703-432-9348 ** RESPONSES DUE BY APRIL 26, 2010 4 PM EASTERN STANDARD TIME.
