- This is a Sole Source announcement. The Department of the Navy, Space andNaval Warfare Systems Center, Pacific intends to award a firm fixed pricecontract to Thermoanalytics, Inc., 23440 Airpark Blvd, Calumet, MI 49913-3923. The Contractor will provide Research and Development services todevelop a visualization feature in Multi-Service Electro-Optic Signature(MuSES)for simulation and validation to allow analysts to compare measured andsynthetic scenes as well as evaluating and enhancing the quality of the wakesimulation for validation purposes. This notice of intent is not a request forcompetitive proposals. See Note 22. Contract to be awarded IAW SimplifiedAcquisition FAR Part 13. No hard copy RFQ will be prepared or made availablefor distribution. A determination by the Government not to compete basedupon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of theGovernment.Authority for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) andFAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services willsatisfy agency requirements. The applicable North AmericanIndustry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541712; the size standard is500 employees.
