- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command-West, Presidio of Monterey has a requirement for CUSTODIAL SERVICE for USARCs Brownsville and McAllen, TX. This project will consist of, but is not limited to the following: Contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision, and all supplies and services to manage and perform all operations for custodial service. This includes routine cleaning of toilets, urinals, and lavatories, showers, traps, mirrors, fixtures, and drinking fountains. Duties also include emptying trash containers and trash recycled bins and fit with appropriate sized plastic liners. In addition, sweeping, vacuuming and mopping of hardwood and carpeted floors. Additional duties consist of policing grounds, dusting of mats in entrances, and spray buffing floor surfaces. Replenishment of janitorial supplies as needed. Square footage frequency chart and floor plans will be provided in the solicitation for this project. Solicitation No. W9124N-10-R-0049 will be available on or about 13 April 2010. A MANDATORY SITE VISIT is scheduled for USARCs, Brownsville and McAllen. Both site visits will be held on Monday, 19 April 2010. Place of Performance USARC, Brownsville will conduct its site visit at 10:00 a.m. (Central Standard Time) and will be held at 340 Porter Street, Brownsville, TX 78520. USARC, McAllen will conduct its site visit at 1:00 p.m. (Central Standard Time) and will be held at 600 S. Col Rowe Blvd, McAllen, TX 78501. Site Visit POC is Mr. David Lenderman. Only contractors that sign in during the mandatory site visit will be considered for this acquisition. All questions pertaining to this procurement must be submitted to the Contract Specialist no later than Thursday, 22 April 2010 at 10:00 a.m. (PST). Proposals are due Wednesday, 28 April 2010 at 10:00 a.m. (Pacific Standard Time). This acquisition is set-aside as a Service Disabled Veteran-Owned procurement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 561720 with a size standard of $16.5M. Performance period is one base year (12 months) with four (4) Option Years. The contract will be a single award, Firm-Fixed-Price type contract. Solicitation number W9124N-10-R-0049 will be available on or about 13 April 2010 on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website (http://www.fbo.gov), and the Army Single Face to Industry (AFSI) website (https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/).
