- Justification For Other Than Full and Open Competition Due to Sole Source Requirement NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT The 316th Contracting Squadron, Andrews AFB, Maryland, intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Dictaphone Corporation. 3191 Broadbridge Ave, Stratford, CT 06614-2566 for the purchase of maintenance for the Dictaphone system. The contract will result in a firm fixed price purchase order. Negotiation being conducted using other than full and open competition procedures pursuant to authority of FAR 6.302-1. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any responses to this notice of contract action shall be submitted to A1C Panuwat Sriautharawong, panuwat.sriautharawong@afncr.af.mil no later than 19 April 2010, 12:00 PM local time.
