- Item Description: Clevis, Rod End: NSN: 5340-01-465-3564. Solicitation Period: 30 days. Issue Date: April 10, 2010 Closing Date: May 10, 2010. Quantity: 130 each, 100% Option Quantity. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestricted technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved source under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Sole Source listed in Procurement Item Description (PID) is Ontic Engineering & Manufacturing (45934); part number 1168104-103, drawings are not available. Item is identified as an Army Critical Safety Item, with Contractor First Article Testing requirements. This procurement is an Unrestricted Acquisition. Delivery shall be 65 each to New Cumberland Depot (PA) and 65 each to San Joaquin Depot (Tracy, CA). Required delivery is 625 days from date of award. Firm-Fixed Price Contract. FOB: Destination, Origin Inspection and Acceptance. While price may be significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon price and past performance factors which will be rate approximately equally, as described in the solicitation.
