- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The work required under this solicitation is to provide labor, equipment and materials to replace deteriorated railroad tie retaining walls, stairs and pull out delineation with concrete segmental retaining wall (SRW) block units. The acquisition is being advertised as Construction under Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This solicitation is restricted to 100% set-aside small business. Contractors must be registered and current with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), in order to receive a Government contract award. Prospective contractors may access http://www.fbo.gov website to download the solicitation and any amendments. It is the contractor's responsibility to check for posted changes to this solicitation.
