- BLOCK ISLAND Dining and Lodging RFQ This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number HSCG80-10-Q-P45H23 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). HSCG80-10-Q-P45H23 and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-40. This requirement is being solicited as a Total Small Business Set-aside using Simplified Acquisition Procedures per FAR Subpart 13. The Small Business Size Standard for NAICS 721110 is $7.0 million. This requirement is for a firm-fixed price contract. The anticipated award date is on or about April 8, 2010. The government intends to award from this solicitation to the responsible vendor whose quote conforming to the solicitation provides the best value. The Period of Performance is FORTY-TWO (42) calendar days beginning 12 April through 23 May 2010. Along with your quote, you must submit a COMPLETE copy of the Dining Menu that will be used for the 42-day period that encompasses ALL Dining Requirements specifically outlined in paragraphs 3.1.2, 3.1.3, and 3.1.4. The USCGC BLOCK ISLAND (WPB-1344) will be located at Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institution, 5600 US 1 North, Ft. Pierce, FL 34946. Be advised that there is a cafeteria located at the facility however it is only open on weekdays (Mon-Fri) and they only serve breakfast and lunch.
