- Services Non-Personal: The Air Force intends to solicit and issue a contract to Spectro Tek, LLC under the authority of FAR6.302 for the following services: The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, test equipment personal protective equipment and clothing, hearing protection, eye protection including prescription safety glasses, materials and parts, transportation and other incidentals necessary to travel to Tinker AFB, OK, to perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Remedial Maintenance (RM) on the Spectruma GDA 750 Glow Discharge Spectrometer. The contractor shall be responsible for insuring all services and parts provided under this contract are in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined herein and conform to the manufacturer's equipment specifications and this Performance Work Statement (PWS). Equipment is listed in Appendix A. A Time and Materials (T&M) and/or Firm Fixed Price (FFP) is contemplated. The approximate issue date of the solicitation will be 12 April 10. The approximate response date of the solicitation will be 23 April 10. The proposed basic period of performance is 21 May 2010 to 20 May 2011. The proposed option year one period of performance is 21 May 2011 to 20 May 2012. The proposed option year two period of performance is 21 May 2012 to 20 May 2013. Central Contractor Registration (CCR) is required to receive any award. Contractors can register electronically at http://www.ccr.gov. ORCA registration is also required and contractors can register electronically at https://orca.bpn.gov. The NAICS code for this requirement is 811219. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals will be considered within 7 days after the publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The government does not own the data rights or the processes for repair of these machines. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
