- SYNOPSISREPLACE FUME HOODS The Department of Veterans Affairs, 508 Fulton Street, Durham, North Carolina has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, material, supplies, equipment, transportation, permits, license and qualified supervision for Project 558-10-116 FCA, Replace Fume Hoods at the Durham VA Medical Center, Durham, North Carolina. The work will consist of replacing chemical and radioisotope fume hoods, asbestos abatement, exhaust stack relocation, plumbing, electrical and reworking duct work within two (2) buildings for a total of 17 fume hoods. All work performed must meet all applicable codes and regulations and be in strict accordance with the contract drawings and specifications. Estimated construction cost is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside. Bidding material/drawings will be available on/about April 15, 2010. The drawings, specifications and amendments/notices, if any, will be posted on this web site. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for proposal. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation. NO bidders list is maintained.
