- Description
- The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Science and Technology Directorate (S&T), intends to award a sole source purchase order to Intelligent Optical Systems, Inc., 2520 W. 237th Street, Torrance, CA., 90505. The Government anticipates a fixed price purchase order with a performance period of eight months. The contractor will provide a DICAST® Chemical Agent Detection System (a fiber optic based sensor system) to include delivery, installation, training, and support. The proposed contract action is for a product that the Government intends to award to only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested sources may submit a letter via e-mail to the Contracting Officer identifying their interest and capabilities to respond to the requirement. Responses must be received no later than April 19, 2010, 5:00 pm EDT. A determination to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This is not a request for proposal or quotations. All responses must be sent via e-mail; no telephone calls will be accepted.
