- SYNOPSISNEW RESEARCH BUILDING #15, PHASE 2 The Department of Veterans Affairs, 508 Fulton Street, Durham, North Carolina has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, material, supplies, equipment, transportation, permits, license and qualified supervision for Project 558-315, New Research Building # 15, Phase 2 at the Durham VA Medical Center, Durham, North Carolina. The work will consist of general construction, site work, cast-in-place concrete, structural steel, roofing, interior finishes, fire protection, plumbing, HVAC and electrical work necessary to construct a three story addition to an existing two story research building with each floor having a total square footage of approximately 9,250 SF. All work performed must meet all applicable codes and regulations and be in strict accordance with the contract drawings and specifications. Estimated construction cost is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. This is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside. Bidding material/drawings will be available on/about April 15, 2010. The drawings, specifications and amendments/notices, if any, will be posted on this web site. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for proposal. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation. NO bidders list is maintained. All interested vendors should register on this website.
