- Description
- Description: Synopsis: The Office of Acquisition Logistics and Construction, National Acquisition Center, Business Resource Service solicits at this time for service to provide all necessary equipment, labor and materials to perform Grounds Maintenance Services, to be performed at the Service Distribution Center, located at 1st Avenue, One Block North of 22nd Street/Cermak, Hines, Illinois 60141, as described in the project SOW/Specifications. This solicitation is a 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). All qualified SDVOSB offerors/firms who believe they can satisfy the solicitation requirements are invited and encouraged to provide their quote/offer, which the Government will evaluate for fair and reasonable pricing and technical competency/capability. The Government anticipates award of a commercial item contract to the responsible offeror whose offer best meets the specifications of the requirement and provides the overall best value to the Government. Award will be made utilizing Simplified Acquisitions Procedures outlined in FAR subpart 13.5, and a combination of FAR part 12, 13, 15 & 17 award procedures. The resulting contract shall be a Firm Fixed Price contract. The size standard for North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 561730 - $7.0 Million. Offerors are reminded to complete all sections of the solicitation, including the Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items. A Site Visit is available (please see instructions in the solicitation). To participate, all interested parties are advised to coordinate your firms planned participation with our technical staff member (Mr. Don Bavaro) who can be contacted at (708) 786-784. Site Visit's are highly encouraged for this requirement, but are not mandatory. Anticipated award effective date is May 1, 2010.
