- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs, North Little Rock, AR (VISN 16), is issuing a solicitation for medical-grade liquid bulk oxygen for the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System. All medical gas manufacturers and fillers of medical-grade liquid bulk oxygen must be registered with FDA as drug manufacturers. All oxygen shall be manufactured, processed, packed, transported, and stored according to FDA's Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP). This solicitation is issued as a commercial item in accordance with FAR Part 12 and shall be evaluated in accordance with FAR part 13.5 Commercial Items - Test Program. The RFP VA-256-10-RQ-0188 will be advertised as Full and Open Competition under NAICS Code 325120 with a size standard of 1000 employees. Only offerors from those firms regularly established in business of providing this type of service will be considered. This solicitation will be advertised and available for download on the Federal Business Opportunities website on or about 02 April 2010. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining any and all posted amendments. Any and all questions regarding this solicitation must be in writing on company letterhead to include telephone number, fax number and point of contact to the Central Arkansas Veterans HC System Contracting Office, Paschal Lee Dawson, Contracting Specialist, Bldg 41, Room 221, 2200 Fort Roots Drive, North Little Rock, AR 72114, or fax 501-228-8651 no later than 09 April 2010.
