- Furnish all labor, tools, materials, equipment and supervision necessary to 'RENOVATE 4N'. Work includes general construction, alterations, prepare site for building operations, including selective demolition of walls and systems, asbestos containing materials abatement, construction of new partitions walls, floors, ceilings and other finishes, cabinet work, installation of electrical, data, plumbing, medical gas, fire protections, heating, ventilating and air conditioning, nurse, call, fire alarm and other related systems as required by the specifications and drawings. The NAICS code is 236220/size standard is $33.5 million. Cost range is $2,000,000.00-$5,000,000.00. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price construction contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, specifications, drawings and schedules of the solicitation, Subject to the Availability of Funds. THIS SOLICITATION IS A TOTAL SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE. BIDS WILL ONLY BE CONSIDERED FROM SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES in accordance with Public Law 109-461. The solicitation will be available on or about 4/20/10. A One Time Organized Site Visit (NOT MANDATORY) is scheduled for: 4/29/10 at 9:30 am, LOCATION: Engineering Conference Room B18, Bldg 19, VA MEDICAL CENTER, 619 S. Marion Avenue, Lake City, Florida. Questions will not be answered at the site visit. All questions must be received in writing for formal response to all bidders. Bid Opening: 5/25/10 at 3:00pm in Room B18, Bldg. 19 at the VA MEDICAL CENTER, 619 S. MARION AVENUE, LAKE CITY, FL 32025. All bid packages must be accessed on line. No hard copies of this solicitation will be sent out. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Complete electronic solicitation with forms and specifications for submitting a bid and to register as an interested party may be obtained at the following website: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will also be available at this URL address and will not be mailed. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining all amendments.
