- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-39 and DFARs Change Notice (DCN) 2010-03-24. NAICS is 335312 and the size standard is 1000 employees; This acquisition is unrestricted. The AFFTC/PKEW, Edwards Air Force Base, CA is seeking to purchase the following as a brand name purchase: ITEM 1: 1 Ea. Hobart PoWerMaster EV, P/N: 60SE200. Model/Spec Number: 500381-31100. 60/90 kVA Solid State Frequency Converter. Unit will be horizontal type and in complete compliance with Unified Guide Specification. Unit shall have 480VAC input and will have 12 pulse already built in for input power filtering. Must include: • Amperage and Voltage - 76@400 VAC+-15%, 66@460 VAC+-15%, 63@480 VAC+-15% • Output Voltage - Voltage regulation: < 0.5% for balanced and 30% unbalanced loads, THD (total harmonic distortion): <2% at linear and non linear loads, Phase Displacement: 120degrees+-1degree for balanced load and 120degrees+-2degrees for 30% unbalanced load, Crest Factor: 1.414+-3%, Voltage Modulation: <1%. • Outputs - Continuous Power Rating: 60kVA (48 kW). 115/200 VAC, 3 Phase, 400Hz. +-0.1%. Overloads: 125% -10 min, 150% - 30 sec, 200% - 10 sec, 210% - 1 sec. Short circuit protected. • Installation and load bank testing. • Training and commissioning. ITEM 2: Frequency Converter - Trailer Mount Option. Delivery: Item must be delivered by 9 Apr 10 Interested parties who believe they can meet all the requirements for the items described in this synopsis are invited to submit in writing a complete quote including delivery to Edwards AFB CA 93524. Offerors are required to submit with their quote enough information for the Government to evaluate the minimum requirements detailed in this synopsis.
