- The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound is soliciting for a firm, fixed price supply contract to be negotiated on a full and open basis for video teleconferencing equipment as manufactured by Tandberg Inc in support of NAVFAC Far East. Delivery is required within 30 days after receipt of order; period of performance for maintenance is one year. Material will be shipped to Travis Air Force Base, CA 94535. Inspection and acceptance FOB Origin, Travis Air Force Base, CA. The acquisition will be made in accordance with FAR Part 13.5. This procurement is issued as full and open to allow Tandberg Inc distributors to offer. The solicitation will be issued on or about 02 April 2010 with a closing date of 12 April 2010. The Government anticipates award of a single firm fixed price supply type contract. This requirement is to be negotiated on a sole source basis with Tandberg Inc per FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals prior to offer due date, which will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Prospective offerors not CCR-registered should immediately begin the registration process.All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by FISCPS.This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: https://www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. No telephone or FAX requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or FAXed.
