- RECOVERY ACT PROJECT: THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES This notice is issued subject to the requirements of the American Recovery and reinvestment Act of 1009, Public Law 111-5 and 38 U.S.C Section 8127. The VA Medical Center, Gainesville, Florida has a requirement for Recovery Act project 573-09-104, to 'UPGRADE PHYSICAL SECURITY, PH II'. Furnish all labor, materials, equipment and supervision necessary to 'UPGRADE PHYSICAL SECURITY, PH II' located at the Veterans Administration Medical Center, Gainesville, Florida.' Work includes general construction; alterations; installation of close circuit television (CCTV) camera system, alarms, intercom system and related equipment and certain other items as required by the specifications and drawings. WORK IS TO BE- PEFORMED AT THE VA MEDICAL CENTER, GAINESVILLE, FLORIDA. The NAICS code is 236220/size standard is $33.5 million. Cost range is $250,000-$500,000. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, specifications, drawings and schedules of the solicitation, Subject to the Availability of Funds. THIS PROCUREMENT IS A TOTAL SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE. BIDS WILL ONLY BE CONSIDERED FROM SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES in accordance with Public Law 109-461. The solicitation will issue on or about 5/20/10. All bid packages must be accessed on line. No hard copies of this solicitation will be sent out and no prior information is available until the issue date. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Complete electronic solicitation with forms and specifications for submitting a bid and to register your name as an interested party can be obtained at the following website: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will also be available at this URL address and will not be mailed. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments. SOLICITATION WILL BE POSTED TO THE ABOVE ADDRESS ON OR ABOUT 5/20/10. All respondents are required to complete vetbiz registration at http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov and must be registered at www.CCR.gov and complete online Reps and Certs at http://orca.bpn.gov.
