- Description
- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, intends to award on a sole source basis to Peppermill Hotel Casino, 2707 S. Virginia Street, Reno, NV 89502. The procurement is using Simplified Acquisition Procedures and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This requirement is for the procurement of space to hold the Armed Forces Recruiting Facilities National Collocation Meeting for the period 18-23 April 2010. Space provided will support the main meeting and breakouts. A classroom will also be required as well as hotel accommodations. No RFQ will be issued based on this notice. Although quotes will not be accepted, any information received will be considered SOLELY for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for information received. The decision to award the facility at the referenced location was based on market research that was performed on establishments located in the Reno, Nevada area that were available and met our needs in the timeframe required. All contractors are required to be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Register before award as required by DFARS 204-7300. The NAICS code is 721110 with a Size Standard of $7 million.
