- Market Research Questionnaire THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY - Solicitations are not available at this time. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the government. The Federal Bureau of Prisons has a future requirement for Major Appliance Repair Instructor Services to be provided as part of the Vocational Technical Education (VT) program for inmates incarcerated at the Federal Correctional Institution located at Beckley, WV. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 611699 (Size Standard: $7.0 million). The requirement will be for a qualified instructor to provide services in accordance with a government provided course curriculum. The individual instructor will not exceed 30 sessions of service per week with a session being defined as one (1) hour in duration. The requirement calls for approximately 18 sessions of service per week. Services will not be required on weekends and Federal Holidays. Class size will average from 15-20 inmate students per class. The classes will normally be scheduled between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 8:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Actual work hours may vary contingent upon the needs of the institution. Proof of qualification will be required when responding to a solicitation. Market research is being conducted at this time for the purpose of determining interest and capability of potential sources currently available for this requirement. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary. The Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. The Market Survey Questionnaire will be available on or about March 30, 2010 and will be distributed solely through General Service Administration=s Federal Business Opportunities web site at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation and/or amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information regarding this acquisition. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The response date for the market survey is April 16, 2010. No collect calls will be accepted. No telephone request or written requests for the market survey will be accepted.
