Description
RECOVERY - Heating/Domestic Hot Water Retrofit - This project is funded by the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). The Bureau of Land Management is soliciting proposals to demolish and remove existing boilers and hot water generators; and install new condensing boilers, pumps, solar hot water system, and change out valves and motors. The project is located at the Salem District Office, 1717 Fabry Road SE, Salem, Marion County, Oregon. The period of performance is 150 calendar days, with an estimated start date of June 15, 2010. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this project is 238220, with a size standard of $14 million annually. Payment (100%) and performance (100%) bonds are required. This project is open to both large and small businesses, with an estimated magnitude of between $100,000 to $250,000. Estimated issue date is April 14, 2010. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. A firm-fixed price contract is anticipated. This solicitation will be posted electronically at www.FedConnect.net. Paper copies are no longer available. Full or partial funding for requirements to be completed by resultant contract award(s) may utilize funds provided by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. Inclusion of unique provisions required to implement the Act, including those for significant reporting and transparency requirements by the successful offeror(s), will be required in any resultant contract. The Awardee will be subject to Section 1512(c) of the Recovery Act which requires each contractor to report on its use of Recovery Act funds under the awarded contract.
