- Description
- Military ships in San Diego, California require delivery of an indefinite quantity of milk and dairy products for an ordering period of August 29th, 2010 to August 25th, 2012. Major delivery points include the following locations: FISC Pier (Navy Pier), Broadway Pier, Naval Station, Sub Pier, PT Loma, Continental Maritime, NASSCO, Southwest Maritime, Campbell Shipyard, AWS Pier, Fuel Pier, PT Loma, Naval Amphibious Base (NAB) Coronado, CA, and Naval Air Station (NAS) North Island, CA. This acquisition will be solicited on an unrestricted basis with price evaluation preference for HUBZone small business concerns. All materials used in fabrication are to be furnished by the successful offerors. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by this agency. Estimated solicitation issue date is approximately late July. Once issued copies of this solicitation can be found on the DLA-BSM Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) website. Contractors are required to be registered with DIBBS in order to download solicitations. The website can be found at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/Solicitations/. From the DIBBS homepage, choose DLA BSM Requests for Proposal ( RFP ) / Invitation For Bid (IFB) Search and then type in the solicitation number.
