- Description
- This requirement is to accomplish trial install, kit proof, and installation of the Dual Rails system on a total of 30 HC-130P/N and MC-130P Tanker aircraft. Under this effort, 14 aircraft will be modified with complete sets of rails, using P/N 59000-101 and 6 aircraft will be modified with partial sets of rails, using P/N 59008-101 and P/N 59010-101. Ten additional HC-130P/N and/or MC-130P aircraft may be accomplished under a contract option. This will be a firm fixed price acquisition utilizing Technically Acceptable-Performance Price Tradeoff procedures in accordance with FAR 15.101-1. This acquisition will be set aside for small businesses. The approximate issue date for the RFP will be 12 April 2010. The approximate response date for proposals will be 12 May 2010.
