- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at https://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet. NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request For Quotation (RFQ) number is N66604-10-Q-2437. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-27. This is 100% set-aside for small business. NAICS Code is 334290. Size standard is 750 employees. NUWC Division Newport intends to purchase the following item: CLIN 0001, Fast Ethernet Hub 6U Single Slot Card, Model PX100, P/N PX100-VME-3TX40-05-ALSV; Quantity of 14 each. Required delivery is 16 weeks after award, F.O.B. Destination Naval Station Newport; Newport, RI. It is expected to place a purchase order with Tricom Technology. They are the only known source for these items because the Encapsulated Harpoon Command and Launch Subsystem (EHCLS) III is the follow on development for the ECHLS II. These components have already been integrated with system hardware and software, and passed both hardware qualification testing and system final testing. The PX100 Fast Ethernet Hub, designed by Tricom Technology, was integrated into the design. Offers for other products must contain complete product information and prices.
