- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The U.S. Army Contracting Agency, Directorate of Contracting, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD is soliciting this requirement with the intention of awarding a contract Set-Aside for Small Business Concerns, as prescribed within FAR 6.203. The contractor shall provide services to provide the proper inspection, maintenance and repair of both Small and Large Stationary Cranes located at Aberdeen Test Center, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 333923, and the size standard is 500 employees. Responses to this notice must be received no later than 8:00AM, Eastern Standard Time, Tuesday, April 13, 2010.
