- Sources Sought (SS) Market Research Medical Courier Services at Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM), Washington Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Directorate of Contracting (DOC) at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington, is currently conducting preliminary planning market research to determine the availability of qualified commercial sources capable to provide Medical Courier Services for the Madigan Army Medical Center (MAMC) at JBLM. The anticipated period of performance is 01 Oct 2010- 30 Sept 2011; with the possibility to exercise options up to four periods. The requirement is for the contractor to accomplish the following: oThe contractor shall plan, program, administer, manage, and execute the work necessary to provide the required services. The contractor shall provide personnel, management, and other items and services necessary to perform courier services for Madigan Army Medical Center (MAMC) at JBLM, Washington and surrounding areas to include Olympia, Tacoma, and Seattle, Washington. The contractor shall comply with applicable Federal, State, and local laws, regulations, codes, technical manuals, manufacturer's instructions and recommendations, and acceptable commercial practices in the delivery of required services. MICC, DOC is seeking industry information and comments from sources with capabilities to perform the contract and with relevant experience in all of the functional areas mentioned above. Interested parties shall complete and submit the attached Market Research Questionnaire to the Government. Responses to the Market Research Questionnaire are encouraged from all interested parties. You are advised that providing responses to the questions will not automatically include you in the acquisition process for future solicitation. DISCLAIMER: This Sources Sought (SS) Notice is for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a Request for Proposals (RFP), Invitation for Bid (IFB) or as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any services. Responses to this SS shall not serve as proposals, bids, or offers, which could be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. MICC, DOC will not accept unsolicited proposals related to the subject of this notice. The responder must clearly identify any information it considers sensitive or proprietary. All information received in response to this notice that is marked Proprietary will be handled accordingly. Responses will not be returned. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated and incurred by responding to this sources sought. The Government reserves the right to determine how it should proceed as a result of this notice.
