- RECOVERY -- ROAD 58 SHOULDER REPAIRS - OCHOCO NATIONAL FOREST, OREGON THIS IS AN AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009 (ARRA) PROCUREMENT The purpose of this announcement is to make notice that the Forest Service contemplates releasing a solicitation numbered AG-0489-S-10-0414 on or about April 7, 2010, for the ROAD 58 SHOULDER REPAIRS Project. If the solicitation is released, it will be released through this FedBizOpps website, and prospective bidders should visit this FedBizOpps website from time to time on or after April 7, 2010, to obtain a copy of the solicitation. This notice meets the requirements of FAR 5.20. PROJECT DESCRIPTION. The U.S. Forest Service, EROC-NW, servicing Region 6 has a requirement for the reconstruction of Road 58 on the Ochoco National Forest in eastern Oregon. Work will include construction staking, removal of existing asphalt surfacing, excavation and embankment, excess material wasting, aggregate base course, asphalt surfacing and related activities. The performance period is 30 calendar days after award. The magnitude of construction for this acquisition is between $100,000 and $250,000. The Government intends to award a negotiated firm fixed price contract. A 20% bid guarantee is required from all offerors. The awarded contractor is required to provide 100% Performance and Payment Bonds. PARTICIPATION. This project is to be issued on a full and open competition bassis. The North American Classification System Code (NAICS) is 237310. The size standard is $33.5 Million. REGISTRATIONS.
