- Description
- RECOVERY - Provide all plant, labor and material for the construction of the Edinburg Pump Levee and Channel Crossing, in the Lower Rio Grande, in Hidalgo County, Texas. This 0.2 mile levee reach has an estimated magnitude between $5 million and $10 million. This is a 100% small business set-aside under the applicable NAICS Code. The performance period is 300 calendar days. Work consists of constructing a crossing of the intake channel on a gated multiple-box culvert, and a levee/floodwall that transitions to existing levees/ floodwalls of the protective levee system against Rio Grande flood waters. Work includes benched excavation; placement of embankment; placement of topsoil and riprap; and seeding of disturbed areas. Solicitation, plans and specifications will be posted on or before Apr 10, 2010. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation has been renumbered to IBM10B0007. All previously interested sources for IBM09B0008 will be notified upon release of solicitation.
