- This posting is to satisfy the publication requirements of the FAR 5.7. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE. The purpose of this task is to provide a firm fixed price bridge contract to satisfy the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Farm Service Agency (FSA) requirement for information technology support to provide stress and performance testing of software and configuration management on the multiple computing platforms utilized by the FSA. The Performance Work Statement (PWS) requires the contractor to provide testing and configuration management in support FSA's administrative and programmatic functions that encompass a large network of automated systems that are maintained by its Information Technology Services Division (ITSD). The Testing and Certification Office (TCO) acceptance test provides final quality assurance testing and support for software applications developed in-house and Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) packages deployed on a variety of computer platforms. The nature of work sought under this task order consists of contractor resources required for: Configuration Management, Stress Testing, Project Management and Reporting, Software Installation/Configuration on all supported platforms, Stress Lab Procedure Documentation, Test Plan Documentation, Test Execution/Analysis, and Test Results Documentation. General Services Administration, Federal Acquisition Service, Assisted Acquisition Services located at 1710 Corporate Crossing, Suite 3, O'Fallon, IL 62269, intends to issue a direct award to Information Technology Experts against the GSA 8(a) STARTS GWAC, Functional Area 1, FA1 NAICS 541511, Custom Computer Programming Services, for a six month base period, and one six month option period. Directed task up to $3.5 million on each for federal civilian agencies are allowable pursuant to 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(5).
