- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN15 Contracting Office is seeking sources for an automated linen distribution system for the VA Medical Center, Kansas City, Missouri. The salient characteristics for the items are: Two each automated single slot hospital linen dispensing exchange units with computerized automatic user access, distributes specific quantity of linen per single user access. Have the ability to dispense/receive both clean and soiled linen 120V Power requirement, magnetic strip card reader access, proximity badge, alphanumeric keypad access To include remote network monitoring with real-time updating, manual override capability, plug in compatibility with existing alEx computer software usage management system. Full compatibility with existing IPA alEx system without modification. Requirement includes equipment installation, start-up and operator training. Any contractor who wishes to respond to this Sources Sought Notice must submit their technical data no later than 3:00pm CST on April 9, 2010. Any company that has equipment with the same features, capabilities and compatibility without modifications to all proprietary existing software will be considered.
