- Notice of IntentMarch 30, 2010 This is a Notice of Intent of The Louis Stokes Cleveland, Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 10000 Brecksville Road, Brecksville, Ohio 44141 to negotiate sole source with Amirsys for the procurement a STATdx which is a diagnostic clinical decision support system which increase speed, accuracy and diagnostic confidence in complex radiology images cases. This is a differential diagnosis tool that is installed on the radiologist's workstation. The radiologist can then access this software while viewing and diagnosing digital images on the screen and use the STATdx as a reference tool to make a final diagnosis. The STATdx product produces, with a keystroke several comparative possible images that aid in making a final diagnosis. The government believes that only one business can satisfy the agency requirements and intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106(b). Other persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by April 9, 2010. Such capabilities information will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. No solicitation will be made available and all information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the government. A determination by the government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
