- This will be a total small business competitive requirement, NAICS 336611 with a size standard of 1000 employees. The Department of Transportation (DOT) Maritime Administration (MARAD) Central Region Beaumont Reserve Fleet, intends to procure services to crop out, renew and install new Tank Vents, Tank Tops, Containment Barriers, Fire Main, Sounding Pipes, Fill Pipes, and Anchoring Rings The work shall include steel preparation and painting prior to installation of the above items on the M/V BARBARA LOIS, which is located at the Beaumont Reserve Fleet, 2600 Amoco Road, Jefferson County, TX 77705. PLEASE SEE REQUEST FOR QUOTATION (RFQ) NUMBER DTMA3Q10013 FOR FURTHER DETAILS AND INSTRUCTIONS. Any questions to Request for Quotation (RFQ) should be directed to the Department of Transportation via email to aline.smith@dot.gov and marie.casse@dot.gov or fax to 504-589-6593 no later than April,16 2010 by 12:00 p.m. CDT. Reference: DTMA3Q10013 on your RFQ. Quotes will be due April 29, 2010, 2:00 p.m. CDT. The government anticipates award of a firm fixed price contract as a result of this RFQ. Award will be made to the lowest price offeror submitting a quote which conforms to this RFQ.
