- The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) intends to contract using other than full and open competition for the continued delivery of vital accounting expertise support services. Accordingly, the TSA intends to award a contract to T. Curtis & Company P.C. located at 120 Waterfront Street, Suite 420, National Harbor, Maryland 20745. This contract will address the requirements of supporting the TSA Office of Finance and Administration (OFA) with the reconciliation and analysis efforts that ensure financial integrity of balances that are reported in TSA's financial reports. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. The OFA is currently rescoping their requirements that will be recompeted during this fiscal year. This sole source procurement action will allow the OFA to continue receiving the support services it needs to continue with the reconciliation and analysis efforts until the new contract is awarded. The base period is anticipated to be from June 1, 2010 through October 15, 2010, to allow time for the new contract to be awarded. An optional period is anticipated to be from October 16, 2010 through January 31, 2011, to allow for transition. Interested vendors may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received fifteen (15) days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
