Description

RECOVERY - DATA CONVERSON FROM MICROFILM TO DIGITAL In compliance with the transparency and accountability requirements associated with the supplemental appropriations provided by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (the 'Act'), Public Law 111-5, this notice is provided for INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. The Department of the Interior, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), intends to issue a modification to previously issued contract number G09PD02053 awarded to HOV SERVICES, INC. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO THE INCUMBENT CONTRACTOR. The original award was made on a competitive basis. This modification is issued against the aforementioned contract as follows: Contract Number G09PD02053, Dollar Value of This Action is $152,000.00 to complete the conversion of BBL microfilm images to digital files that was initiated under requistion 9-2302-0142. an additional estimated 2.25 million images from 16mm microfilm will be converted for this project. The Period of Performance is time of award through September 30, 2011. The Place of Performance is Turner Falls, Massachusetts. Full or partial funding for requirements to be completed by the contractor will utilize funds provided by the Act. Inclusion of unique provisions required to implement the Act, including those for significant reporting and transparency requirements, is required. (ATN # DP0001)
