- RECOVERY - PER FAR 5.7 THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY; THEREFORE FAR 5.203 DOES NOT APPLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY WAS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTOR(S) UNDER: Contractor - HNTB-Gerwick River Solutions JV, Contract Number W912EK-09-D-0007 This contract action was accomplished using other than competitive procedures because this is a task/delivery order where an exception to fair opportunity requirements was approved as this is a follow-on order to a competitive initial order (FAR 8.405-6(b)(2) or 16.505(b)(2)(iii). The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District, has awarded a firm fixed price task order for architectural-engineer services to prepare plans and specifications (P&S) and construction cost estimates for a new pumping station as part of the Rice Lake State Fish and Wildlife Area Habitat Rehabilitation and Enhancement Project, Fulton County, Illinois. The work will consist of completing the analysis, design and detailing of improvements and additions to existing system features of the Rice Lake State Fish and Wildlife Area Habitat Rehabilitation and Enhancement Project, by preparing complete P&S for advertising, bidding, and construction by the government and documenting the analysis, design and detailing of the project feature.
