- RECOVERY-THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A NOTICE FOR SOLICITATION OF OFFERS. THE ACTION DESCRIBED HEREIN IS A MODIFICATION TO AN EXISTING CONTRACT. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO THE CONTRACTOR IDENTIFIED BELOW. This opportunity is available only to Texas Educational Foundation (TEF) under contract number J05YA48220. The Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management, on behalf of Job Corps, has awarded a modification in the amount of $72,948 to the Carrasco Job Corps Center (JCC), operated by TEF. These funds are provided under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). The funding is within the not-to-exceed ceilings for this contract. It would be impracticable to use a fixed price contract to secure services of the kind or quality required for this modification since the modification is to an existing Cost Plus Incentive Fee (Cost Reimbursement) contract. The funding is intended to enhance green initiatives via Educational Operations (Earth Day Every Day campaign) and Equipment for a Driver's Ed simulator, training vehicle, and Welding trade. The operator will utilize these funds as invested opportunities for students of the Carrasco JCC.
