- The VA NW Health Network (VISN20) intends to negotiate a sole source procurement in accordance with FAR Part 13 with OPNET Technologies. This procurement is for the purchase of License Upgrade Synchronization for ACE Live Director and Technical Support Synchronization for ACE Live 2000 Plus with Copper/Fiber Interface for the existing hardware use by VISN18 and VISN 22. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation document is available and telephone inquiries will not be honored; however, interested parties may submit literature detailing how their services meet the VA requirements to the Contractor. Responses received on or before March 31, 2010 will be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
