- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT 1. The National Capital Region Contracting Center (NCRCC), on behalf of The Office of The Assistant Secretary of Defense (OASD), intends to award a bridge sole source contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1), (1)-FAR 6.302-1(a) (2)(iii)(A) - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This award will be made to The Spectrum Group, 11 Canal Center Plaza, Suite 103, Alexandria, VA 22314-1595. The Spectrum Group will provide Defense Technology Support Services. This action will result in a single Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract with a period of performance of two (2) months. The NAICS Code for this Notice is 923110 with a size standard of $6 million. 2. This Notice of Intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive quotes. There is no solicitation document. No Request for Proposals will be available for competitive proposals. A determination not to compete this proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
