- PR/Sol Number: IQC09295009004/SPM5M5-10-R-0006 FSC: 5330 Nomenclature: Packings - Various Items RFP: Due Date 100% SET ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS (SB) The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP) Land Detachment SMSG will be soliciting requests for proposals from business entities interested in supporting worldwide demand of various Federal Stock Class (5330) fully competitive items. Solicitation SPM5M5-10-R-0006 is being issued to support this initiative for depot stock replenishment. This initiative will fall under FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Item procedures. Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is required. The initial solicitation will require pricing for 62 (core) NSNs. The delivery requirement will be 120 days ARO. This initiative has (42) additional items (non-core) in the universe which may be added on a post award basis via the Add/Delete Clause as demand warrants. To obtain a copy of the drawings for the SB Solicitation after opening, please access the “C folders” link located on the following website: https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil. Vendors may either click on the “Tech Docs” icon next to the solicitation number on the DIBBS RFP/IFB screen or they may log directly into “C folders” and then search for specific solicitations. Once into “C folders” section of the website, the same navigation procedures that are currently used to access Request for Quotation (RFQ) technical data can be used. Subject solicitation will be issued as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside with the resultant being an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) for two (2) base years and one (1) additional one-year option. In determining contract awards, the Contracting Officer will make a comparative assessment of the offerors performance risk by using available tools including the Automated Best Value (ABVM) System. Past performance will be more important than price. Solicitation SPM5M5-10-R-0006 is expected to be issued approximately 03/26/10 at https://www.dibs.bsm.dla.mil. No hard copies of the solicitation will be available. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. DSCP reserves the right to award contract(s) resulting from solicitation SPM5M5-10-R-0006 to multiple contractors. Anticipated award date is August 2010.
