- Timber Sales: The work includes furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment, supervision, tools, transportation, and management necessary for harvesting Pine Sawtimber, Chip and Saw, Pine Pulpwood, Hardwood Sawtimber, Pine and Hardwood Biomass and other incidental related work at the Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. All merchantable timber products are to become the property of the Contractor and shall be removed from the limits of the Station. This is a Firm Fixed Price, Services Contract. One Contract will be award from this solicitation. The successful Contractor will be required to provide weekly payrolls. Bid documents will be available on or about 8 Apr 2010. The bid opening date will be on or about 6 May 2010. If any question regarding this site visit please contract Mr. Danny Marshburn at (910) 451-7223 or (910) 526-9564 (cell). There will be a site visit on 7 Apr 2010. Prospective Bidders who wish to inspect the site should be at Building No. 12 Room 130, located on McHugh Blvd. at the Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, before 9:00 am. The NAICS Code is 113310, Logging. The size standard is 500 employees. The Government intends to issue the solicitation on the NECO Site http://www.neco.navy.mil/.
