Description
Required Outhouse Picture Required Outhouse Specifications Note: This is a pre-solicitation. The actual RFQ will be available on 4/2/10. 2 Cedar Timber Outhouses manufactured IAW the following description. Requirement Description: Product required is a solid/ air dried cedar timber outhouse structure. Interior dimensions shall be 6'-3 1/2" wide by 6'-3 1/2" deep. The timbers shall be 3" wide by 6" high. The structure’s side walls shall be 17 timbers high or about 7"-6". The roof shall be supported by side walls and ridge beam. Roof shall be a pitch of 4/12 and have 2' over hangs on all sides. Roof decking shall be 2"x6" white wood T&G decking. Roofing shall be of brown colored metal panels with no exposed fasteners and have all fasteners, eave trim, gable trim and ridge cap trim. Two 3' wide x1' high fixed pane frosted windows with vinyl frames shall be supplied for installation in the structure’s upper sides. A 3' pre-hung fiberglass out swinging door that is cedar in color shall be supplied with lever handle. All interior and exterior trim for the roofs eaves and gables, windows and door shall be supplied in clear cedar. All fasteners should be supplied and be weather resistant. Toilet walls to be built with red cedar. Window sizes are rough openings (3'x1'). Window frames are to be vinyl, brown in color, if not brown, tan in color. Roof is Gable with 4/12 pitch. Roof decking is tongue and groove 2"x6" white in color (doug. fir, hemlock, etc.) Fiberglass door is to be a color that will match the red cedar of the walls. Brown or Tan paint will do. Toilet walls to be constructed of individual interlocking timbers. Ridge beam for the gable roof is 4"x8". Roof color is to be brown. The toilet will not be insulated. Timbers shall be 3"x6". Side walls will be 17 timbers high (approx. 7ft. 6 inches) Structure shall meet the following engineering requirements: Snow Load = 100 PSF (LL) + 10 PSF (DL) Wind Load = 110 EXP.B assumed Seismic Zone = 3 There is no foundation needed. We shall supply. *A drawing and picture of the model outhouse will be made available electronically.
