- The National Capitol Region Contracting Center (NCRCC) on behalf of the Office of the Provost Marshal General (OPMG) intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A) Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, to Concurrent Technologies Corporation, 100 CTC Drive, Johnstown, PA 15904-1935 1950 for Specialized Search Dog (SSD) Services. The purpose of this effort will be to train SSD Teams to counter the increased threat of enemy and terrorist forces using Improvised Explosive Devices (IED) and hasty minefields as part of the Global War on Terrorism (GWOT). This action will result in a Firm-Fixed Price contract. This Notice of Intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive proposals. There is no solicitation document. No RFP will be available for competitive proposals. Phone calls will not be accepted. Interested parties may express their interest and provide a capabilities statement NLT Friday, 1 April 10, 12:00 pm EST. A determination not to compete this proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
