- Contract Award Amount equals $5,313,000.00 Recovery Funds, and $1,983,832.82 Non-Recovery Funds. Contractor shall furnish all labor, management, tools, equipment, vehicles, fuel, materials and supplies as well as perform all work necessary for the degradation and reconstruction of a levee and floodwall system approximately 1.7 miles long with an approximate location of left descending bank of the Des Moines River from McHenry and Riverview Parks (Oak Park Avenue & 9th Street) downstream to Birdland Park (vicinity of Guthrie Avenue and Saylor Road). The project scope of work includes degradation and reconstruction, including gates, gatewells, gravity outlets, road raise, multipurpose trail, utility removals and relocation coordination, removal and construction of new structures and facilities, bank protection, and other associated appurtenances.
