- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price Contract to ITT Corporation/EDO MTECH for the production of the BRU-70/A Digital Improved Triple Ejector Rack (DITER) along with supplies and services required to integrate and support the BRU-70/A DITER on the AV-8B aircraft. (THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS). Unless otherwise stated herein, no additional written information is available. Request for the same will be disregarded. A determination has been made by the Government not to compete this effort. GENERAL INFORMATION: This award for production of BRU-70/A DITER that was developed from efforts performed under SBIR Phase III and is authorized under 10 U.S.C. 2304(b) (2). Since the DITER interface technology was developed under SBIR Phase III, ITT Corporation/EDO MTECH possesses the proprietary data necessary to produce DITER. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code for the supplies and services anticipated herein is 336413 “Other Aircraft Parts and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing”. There is no commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, make an award or awards, or to be responsible for any monies expended by any interested parties before award of a contract for the effort mentioned above.
