- RECOVERY PROJECT: TAS::14 1035::TAS RECOVERY BADL PMIS#130258 Purchase Treated Lumber. DESCRIPTIONThis is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business. The associated NAICS code is 321114, Treated Lumber. The small business size standard is 500 employees. The Product Service Code is 5510, Lumber and Related Wood Materials. The Government will award a firm fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation that will be the most advantageous to the Government and Best Value to the Government. Best value can include but is not limited to price, delivery date, and quality. All vendors must be registered and current in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), http://www.ccr.gov) and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) (https://orca.bpn.gov). Any questions regarding this solicitation must be submitted in writing, not later than close of business on March 29, 2010. Once questions are collected and reviewed, the government will consider whether an amendment to this solicitation will be required. Amendments to this solicitation will be issued as appropriate. Item #2 - Quantity = 2000 each: 2" x 6" x 14' smooth treated pine Item #3 - Quantity= 400 each: 2" x 4" x 8' Smooth treated lumber Delivery is to be FOB Destination to Badlands National Park, Maintenance Shop, Ben Reifel Rd, Interior, South Dakota, 30 days after award. Inspection: Unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the supplier is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements and quality control.
