Project Title: ARRA Case Study Component of Communities Putting Prevention to Work (CPPW) Evaluation. The purpose of this task order is to conduct research case studies for purposes of identifying patterns in effective implementation of evidence-based prevention strategies. The research study will be conducted through intensive case studies with a subset of 15 communities and 6 states chosen from among those funded under the CPPW initiative. As part of the case study, initial site visits will be conducted during the first year of funding to determine the "baseline" situation, and then follow-up case studies will be conducted after the conclusion of the sites' funded period (24 months) to determine the degree to which the strategies have been effectively implemented and the patterns and factors leading to effective implementation. The task order work will provide for oversight and implementation of the initial/baseline and follow-up site visits, produce interim/baseline reports and follow-up reports and cross-site analyses for all sites visited. The findings of the research will also be converted into peer-reviewed articles. This is not a request for competitive proposals, not is a solicitation available. Period of Performance: The period of performance shall be thirty-six months. Any questions regarding this notice must be submitted in writing to Maryann Schlemmer at aaq8@cdc.gov.
