- Description
- Project Synopsis 1. This is a design-build project located at F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming. The work will result in a 25m, 35 lane fully contained multipurpose range with a conditioned firing platform. Work also includes design and construction of a storage/maintenance/classroom building. The repair/upgrade includes but is not limited to the following principle items: demolition activities, lead remediation, new utility services, stormwater controls, concrete work including slabs and foundations, masonry work, structural steel work, modifications of the existing baffling system, roofing, interior construction including partitions, ceilings, windows and doors floors, interior finishes including flooring, wall surfaces and ceilings; plumbing, supply, waste and vent, new HVAC; new electrical including lighting and power; communications systems; and all associated design services. 2. Estimated construction cost is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. 3. The performance period for this project is 240 calendar days. CHANGE* - This requirement is changed to a proposed task order to an existing contract for Simplified Acquisition of Civil Engineer Requirements (SABER) at F.E. Warren Air Force Base. This opportunity is available only to Contractors under the SABER Program. The 90th Contracting Squadron intendes to issue a task order to contract number F48608-02-d-0005, SABER contract for Project Number RA-GHLN 09-1035, Construct Target Storage Facility, Bldg 1591 at F.E. Warren AFB, WY. The task order is being made against a Firm-Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract that was competed using 8(a) firms and awarded to Torix General Contractors. This acquisition is subject to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 236220 and Standard Industry Classification (SIC code) 1799, with a size standard of $34.5M. This project consists of, but not limited to, providing all necessary tolls, parts, labor, transportation, materials, personnel, and supervision to provide miscellaneous construction, alteration, and repair to building 1591.
