See revised salient characteristics This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included with or attached to this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation shall be posted on both FEDBIZOPS and NECO (https://www.neco.navy.mil/). The RFQ number is N62306-10-T-5021. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-38 and DFARS Changes Notice 20091123. It is the contractor’s responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at these addresses: www.acqnet.gov/far and http://www.acq.osd.mil/dpap/dars/dfars/html/current/252201.htm. The Naval Oceanographic Office, Stennis Space Center, MS intends to solicit and award, on an 8 (a) competitive requirement, a firm fixed price purchase order for 10 each SunFire x4170 x64 Servers, as set forth in the Salient Characteristics. Delivery is required within 30 days after receipt of order. This action is conducted using FAR 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR 19 Small Business Programs. The applicable NAICS is 334111 with a business size of 1000 employees. Estimated award amount is $76,000.00 All quotes shall be in accordance with the attached Salient Characteristics. Interested parties should independently review the website frequently for updates to any/all documents. Any inquires concerning the requirement are to be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer.
