- This procurement is set aside 100% for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned concerns. The Contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, tools, vehicles, materials, quality control, and equipment for the remediation of mold at the United States Army Garrison (USAG) West Point NY and Building #108 Stewart International Airport New Windsor NY. The goal of mold remediation is to remove or clean mold contaminated materials in a way that prevents the emission of fungi and dust contaminated with fungi from leaving a work area and entering an occupied or non abatement area. Services include the removal of water from flooded rooms and drying of materials, the cleaning and removal of mold from building surfaces, and the removal of building materials deemed too contaminated or damaged for cleaning. At the completion of mold remediation the surfaces shall be dry and visibly free of contamination and debris. The area(s) shall also be clean and free of debris encapsulated with a mold inhibitor and ready for occupancy or additional repair work. Period of Performance shall be one base year and four option years. The solicitation will contain additional specifications.
