Description

RECOVERY This is funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) and is subject to the reporting requirements of the Act. THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION ONLY. Great Sand Dunes National Park & Preserve: Improve Energy Efficiency of Maintenance Shop The general purpose of this project is to rehabilitate the maintenance building at GRSA, to make it more energy efficient. The Maintenance Shop is used for storage, vehicle repairs, carpentry and miscellaneous work required to keep the park grounds operational. This building also contains the maintenance office which consists of a computer room, work area/kitchen, bathroom and locker room. The building upgrades will include installation of a forced-air furnace, infrared heater, garage door openers, window, window glazing, ceiling gypsum board, insulation, repair of soffits, sealing of building penetrations and painting of exterior of building. The Maintenance Building has been determined to be eligible next year for the National Register of Historic Places; the appearance of the building may not be changed unless as specifically required in this scope of work. This procurement is set aside to be competed among the five (5) HubZone IDIQ contract holders of the Design Build MATOC for the Denver MABO, Intermountain Region, National Park Service. Contract Numbers are C1244090529, C1244090530, C1244090531, C124409532, C1244090533. The NAICS code is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, with a small business size standard of $33.5. Magnitude of project is between $25,000 and $100,000. Estimated award date is May 12, 2010. The task order will be competed among the five IDIQ contracts and will be awarded to the Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable Offeror.
