- Description
- DESCRIPTION The Department of Veterans Affairs, Pacific Islands Health Care System (VAPIHCS) Hawaii plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to obtain service to transport laboratory specimen packages overnight from VAPIHCS Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC's) to the VA Lab Room 2A03, Spark M Matsunaga Medical Center, 459 Patterson Road, Honolulu, HI 96819-1522. The contractor shall provide on an as needed basis all labor and services to transport lab specimen packages overnight. The NAICS code 492110 applies with a size standard 1500 employees. This acquisition is Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set aside. The contract will be a requirement type and is expected to include a base period beginning 1 May 2010 to 30 September 2010, with four one-year option. The solicitation number for this RFP is VA-261-10-RP-0173. The solicitation will be issued on or about 26 Mar 2010 with an anticipated proposal due date of 15Apr2010.
